"The Woman's Curse"

I have a deep desire to encourage women to live the best lives they can.  Originally rejecting submissive teachings of the church, I grew to understand the importance of them.  Man needs the respect that comes from the respect given by the submission.

God showed me how being submissive plays an important role not just in the marriage but in my relationship with the Lord.

My first encounter with Ginger Taylor was through a mutual friend. Within the first or second time we had met, she was inviting my family over for dinner at her home. The conversation was easy and engaging and I immediately trusted her as a friend. You will quickly find this book to be engaging in the same way, as though Ginger is sitting in your living room sharing funny stories as well as past trials because she cares for you, personally. A few years ago, I attended a very informal bible study that Ginger hosted for a group of friends. She led lively discussions about topics that many people shy away from or find too awkward to discuss in front of others. It was evident that she has a passion for helping women and marriages. In this book, she has taken on the topic of submission, which has been perverted in our culture to elicit thoughts of inferiority, lower value, lack of importance, and loss of freedom. Through scripture, she weaves a clear picture of what our amazing God had in store for us when He designed marriage. And while the book is titled The Woman’s Curse, you will see the blessings that come from submitting yourself to God and to your husband, as an act of worship and reverence to the Lord. I spend several hours each week talking with women in my daily clinical practice and through biblical counseling sessions. Marriages are suffering. It is obvious that many women either have never been taught their role or are afraid to embrace it due to some misconceptions. This book presents our helper role as a gift from God that will transform your marriage if you faithfully trust in God’s promises. I invite you to lean into submission in a way that you may never have fully understood or trusted before, and watch what God will do to elevate your relationship with your husband!

Back of Book Description

All women are cursed for life, but how can the curse be broken? Since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, women-kind have lived with a curse - a desire to control their husbands and act in their position as the head of the family. Ginger Taylor’s goal is to help women understand why they want to be in control and how taking over their husband’s position defeats the marriage each couple is trying to grow. This book will give you insight into the benefits of submission to God, your husband, and the consequences of taking over his position. Through Scripture and life experience, this mindset shift will benefit your marriage and your relationship with your children. This book is a revolution waiting to happen! It is a must-read for any married Christian woman.
